Melissa Douglas’s practice emphasis is in litigation of trusts, estates, probate, and all aspects of family law. Her litigation knowledge and experience with contested matters provides her clients with efficient, sophisticated, and trusted strategies effective in achieving client goals.
Prior to coming to Dawson & Lordahl, Ms. Douglas was an associate at a local, AV rated law firm, practicing primarily in the area of high asset family law litigation. Prior to that, she worked as a solo practitioner practicing in the areas of family law and dental malpractice. As a former teacher, Ms. Douglas has spent her career focused on assisting families through the education, divorce and custody processes. She now uses those skills to focus on probate and estate planning for the benefit of her clients.
